
Carpinteria Creek Restoration Events!
Please join South Coast Habitat Restoration, the City of Carpinteria, the Watershed Stewards Project, and the Carpinteria Creek Watershed Coalition, on Saturday January 28th and Saturday February 4th, from 9:00am to 1:00pm, for a native revegation effort at the 8th Street Pedestrian Bridge Across Carpinteria Creek. Volunteers are needed to help with the hand removal of non natives and planting of native container stock. Please wear appropriate attire, bring water and sunscreen. South Coast Habitat Restoration is involved in creek clean-ups, water quality monitoring, tree-planting, festivals, and more in the Santa Barbara and Ventura regions.
